 biography :: artist statement :: resume  My
work is strongly influenced by the aesthetics of visual communication.
I am attracted to Eastern calligraphy, illuminated manuscripts, and
modern Western graphics. I find the interaction among these diverse
traditions visually stimulating and intriguing for the narratives
that they evoke. I intuitively arrange design elements-shapes, textures,
colors, lines-creating intimate mixed media collages that draw the
viewer in. |
